Summary

Today, we look back on 2022 and also vision cast for 2023! It’s always fun to be able to look back on what God has done the past year and project where you hope His vision is for the new year.

Elisha also shares his dream board from 2022! What exactly is a dream board?? It is when you sit down and analyze your thoughts, goals, and direction you want to be going in, in the new year. You then find photos to really support and remind you of those things throughout the year, print them out and attach them to a board and place it somewhere that you will see it often.

“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
We are called to plan our way, and also have open hands for the Lord to direct! At the end of a year/season/month, etc., before you start planning, take time to look back and reflect and acknowledge the blessings the Lord gave you and bestowed upon you. Count the wins in your life and remember His faithfulness and goodness!

Okay. So when does a year ever go as planned? It really never does. And there were good ways

0:06.6

that 22 went as planned. There were good ways it didn't go as planned. There are ways

0:11.7

that I'm sure God is orchestrating things that were just a bummer about this year. And overall,

0:19.2

we're just really grateful with where we are. I'm excited to talk through 2022 with you guys

0:25.3

and also to Vision Cast a little bit for 2023 with a like show. This is always a fun time of

0:33.2

year just looking at what God has done and then kind of projecting where you hope his vision is

0:41.6

and you hope that your heart is in a line with his. But then it is fun to see how he works in

0:46.9

spite of that and the plot to see throws in along the way. And so we just hold it all very loosely.

0:52.8

But this is going to be a fun conversation. I want to thank you guys real quick. We hit a thousand

0:59.6

reviews on iTunes. This has been our goal since the beginning of starting the podcast. So

1:06.2

Alish and I are wondering if we should just quit now, you know. We had a thousand. But you guys

1:11.5

that like that there's nothing we can do to get reviews or ratings. You guys have to do that out

1:17.6

of the generosity of your own heart and take your own time to do that. I know that is a big

1:23.7

ask to make of you. And so the fact that a thousand and six of you took the time over the,

1:30.8

you know, since we've been recording this podcast to go in and write encouraging words. And even

1:35.6

like the three of you that took the time to write negative reviews like you helped get us to a

1:40.4

thousand two. So I can't say I'm bummed about it. I'm just we're just really, really grateful.

1:45.9

Alish and I so this intro is getting really long, but but thank you from the bottom of our

1:50.5

hearts a lot of way to kick off 2023 with the now that we're a family podcast.

2:00.6

The now that we're a family podcast. Thank you for that introduction. I tell you what.

2:08.4

Relations like I ask her to do the intro. She's never in a stop talking. You know,

2:13.3

it's funny because we used to record the introductions after we are done recording because we would
