Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to the now that we're a family podcast today.

I had the great privilege of doing something that was not necessarily expected for Katie

and I in the podcast. And that was interview my father. He is my hero. He is my number one

role model here in this life. He's one of my best friends, if not my best friend. And

I've got the utmost respect for this man, Joe Voper. So today you get to hear this is a

rare thing to before we dive in because my dad, as you will hear, is not a front stage guy.

He's not the type of guy that you will see volunteering his opinion very often. He's not

going to go out of his way to have his voice heard and yet the wealth of knowledge and wisdom

that he has is abundant. And so I'm so grateful that he was willing to sit down and share

some of his story with us all with me with you with all of us today. And to really

encourage families to encourage husbands and fathers and wives and mothers to get into

the word of God. What am I saying? I don't want to get too much into what we talked about

today. But I will let you know the Joe Voper. This man is awesome. He's got what 26 grandchildren.

He had 10 children. Seven of those children are married. They're serving the Lord in a

faithful way. He was successful. Still is a successful entrepreneur. He's done many

things with his life. But we're going to be talking namely about shepherding the flock,

shepherding your home, raising up your children to know and love and serve Jesus Christ, which

is come to find out, not to come to find out. I knew it all along. It's a really important
