happy to have Dr. Larry Silver. He is clinical professor of psychiatry

retired at the Georgetown Medical Center

and author of the misunderstood child as well as Dr Larry Silver's advice to

parents on ADHD. His most recent books include two co-edited with Dr. Frank Klein

intended for general education teachers. They are called Educators Guide to Medical

Issues in the Classroom and the Educators Guide to Medical Issues in the Classroom and the Educators Guide to Mental

Health Issues in the Classroom.

Dr Silver was Acting Director and Deputy Director of the National Institute of Mental Health.

He was also Professor of Psychiatry, Professor of Pediatrics, and Chief of the Division of

Child and Ellison Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Silver's work has focused on the impact of neurologically based disorders on young lives.
