and her partner, Andrea Mityaua, collectively known online as Italian Wine Tales.

On episode 179, we explored the effervescent world of Italian sparkling wine, and today we're

delving into white wines. Obviously, Italy is best known for its red wines, but as you'll discover,

the white varieties are worth seeking out too. Wine making and drinking is a big part of Italian

culture and has been since Roman times.

Generations of families have poured their hearts and souls into preparing the vino

that combines in perfect harmony with dishes prepared with the produce farmed in nearby fields.

It's the symbiosis of seasons, land and nourishing produce,

which makes the Italian approach to wine making

very special and interesting, even if you're not a wine drinker. So let's get started and
