She is a director of rehab services at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where she has also been a practicing

SLP for over seven years.

Her research interests include rehabilitation

for patients with posterior fauca syndrome

and comprehensive management of swallowing disorders

in childhood cancer Patients and Survivors.

She is passionate about mentorship, developing content for a variety of childhood cancer resources,

and sharing current applicable information for SLPs to use in their clinical practice.

Kristen obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees

from the University of Illinois
