I want to start by saying up front that this episode is incredibly important, possibly

even life-saving.

But it is also based around a truly devastating story of loss, and I want to give a trigger

warning to anyone who is lost to child, or who may not be in an emotional place right

now to hear about a mother's heartbreak.

Don't worry, there is also a lot of hope and resilience and tools in this episode, but

I wanted to make sure that you weren't caught off guard by the emotional aspects of this

story.

Our guest today is Nicole Hughes, a mother of five from Tennessee, who's been through

the unthinkable heartache of losing a child to drowning.

In the summer of 2018, Nicole and her family were enjoying a beach vacation with friends.

When their three-year-old son Levi slipped away from the group as they were all preparing
