By the time you guys hear this, I will be trying to keep my cool about driving to Wisconsin from Colorado with a car full of children.

Why did you make this decision?

Oh, Brandon keeps trying to convince me to bring the dog.

Oh, no, no, no, no. No, No, no. I mean, granted, it's like $400, it's like $400, almost $500 to board her for the whole week we're going to be

like, worth it. Worth it. Worth it. Plus, like, she gets car sick. Like, what do you have?

She hasn't got crazy in a while. But she just is not like, she's two and a half. She still is like, we still put, let's put her in the crate when we leave the house. Right. Like, she is not free to roam the house. She's not to be trusted. You just never know. She can ingest something that's $5,000 later of a vet bill.

You don't want to have to do it.

And like I kind of, you know, if you have a pet or a kid, you can probably relate to like, you sort of can like heat scan your house in your mind for like risks. And so, you know, before you're going to bed or before you're leaving the house, you're kind of heat scanning of like, okay, all the foods off the counter and like there's no stuffed animals on the floor that are beloved and the like bathroom doors are closed so nobody's can get any like any like trash. Yeah, Rachel says car sick dogs always wait until traffic to vomit in your lap and you can't do anything about it. 100% true. 100% true. So we're not taking the dog.

Brandon keeps being like, we're wasting so much money boarding her. I'm like, no, this is my, the price we're paying for sanity. Yes. Absolutely. Absolutely. So how long of a drive is that? Like three days, two days? No, no. It's like two half days or one really full day. So if you're just driving it with two adults,

you can make it in like 14, 15 hours. With kids, it's more like 18 hours. So what we're going to do on the way there is we're going to try to leave like Friday afternoon pit stop in Lincoln,

which is about halfway and then go the rest of the way. And then on the way back, we're going to try to make it one push.

There's something about the drive home that feels like it goes a little faster.

Carolyn also says, we drove from Georgia to Virginia for a move and the dog threw up as soon as we

got into our new house.

Wow.

That is amazing. Oh, that makes me sad. Impeckable timing. Impeckable timing. Speaking of dogs throwing up this morning, JT doesn't really throw up anymore. He used to throw up a lot. Sorry for any. This is not going to get graphic. It's just kind of a cute thing that like J.T. has been trained to throw up outside. And that's not that I like made him do it. It's just that he knows anytime I see because it takes him a while to like
