Hey everybody on this episode we're just sitting around having our normal

0:06.0

evening conversation but we decided to record it. We find ourselves you know in

0:11.0

deer camp just sitting around every night talking about what we're thinking

0:15.1

about what we're seeing, different strategies, talk about bedding, we talk about

0:20.0

calling, talk about running in general because that's what we've been doing and

0:24.1

one other thing that we talk about a lot is how much more we're utilizing

0:29.6

our binoculars while we're out there. We're doing a ton of glassing. It doesn't

0:34.1

really matter if we're in Iowa or South Dakota or Nebraska or Big Timber that's

0:41.6

really dense and hard to see through. We're glassing a ton because it really

0:46.1

can help you pick up on deer especially when deer are moving around if you're

0:49.8

in dense cover even if you can only see like 50 to 100 yards sometimes that

0:55.1

can tip you off the deer's moving around and you can be ready for it or make

0:59.2

a move on it. Also a lot of times during the rut bucks put themselves in pretty

1:03.3

vulnerable positions bedding with those so a lot of times we're just glassing

1:07.1

looking for tie and tips sticking out of the grass or a clear cut or something

1:10.9

like that. So we're always using our binoculars and we use vortex optics. Right

1:15.6

now we're all running 10 by 42 vortex diamond back HD binoculars. They're

1:20.9

perfect for pretty much every situation. One of the main reasons that we like

1:25.0

vortex optics so much is because they have a VIP warranty which basically means

1:29.7

if anything happens to your optics you can send them back to them and they will

1:34.0

fix them or replace them whatever needs to be done. I'll take care of you

1:37.7

and that's pretty awesome if you ask me. Also if you want to save a little bit of
