Listen, we are going to be talking with Dr. Sylvie Stacey today.

She is trained in preventative medicine, but she's also the author of this book called 50 non-clinical careers for physicians.

As you know, this is all in vogue now, right?

Doctors are being more open, exploring,

talking about what it's like to maybe use their clinical skills to transition into another career. But I think the first step, the hardest step, is realizing what other options are

out there. And then obviously after that, taking the next step and actually

taking action can be the next hardest step after that. So she's coming on a show to share her

story about what it's like to always want to be a doctor, talk about it to everyone. And then right

as she got to the penultimate step, realizing that practicing clinically is not exactly how she thought it was going to be.

What do we do next? So she took it to the next level. She decided to take action and she did

something about it. She created a website that kept track of all of these different careers and

eventually wrote this book. And as a matter of fact, she reached out to me right before

it was published to ask if I can endorse it. I read it. It's dope. Actually, I got a couple of ideas

...
