but what do we do about friends and family?

episode, we're going to talk about why you should not ask your friends and family to leave you a review

on Amazon. Now, a few weeks ago, Amazon, Amazon Seller Central, Amazon's employees, right,

they hosted a webinar about compliance, review compliance specifically, where they talked about

what was allowed, what is acceptable for getting reviews on Amazon. And they went through all

the stuff about don't have this on your packaging, don't have this on your insert card saying

leave us a review and I'll send you a gift card. Don't tell people to,

if you have problems with your product, don't leave us a bad review. Reach out to us first.

They went over all that stuff. But the big one that I was interested in knowing about and why

I went on the webinar is, what do we do about friends and family? And I submitted the question and they answered it,

but they answered it super vaguely. So I submitted the question again live on the call,

asking for more clarification, and they answered it vaguely again. So to kind of share with you guys

how it kind of went down is I asked the question,

how are we supposed to handle friends and family reviews? And I can't remember the dude's

name, bless his heart, but the guy who was hosting the webinar, again, an Amazon employee,

this was through Amazon Cellar Central, through their webinars, he came on and said, you know, this is a great question.

It's a question that comes up a lot. And, you know, we know that your friends and family are going

to buy your product. But friends and family leaving a product review is against Amazon's terms

and conditions. And it is considered, I can't
