So I've seen a few articles come out recently that like the 90 cents from Gap are coming back. If you have any connection to this relaunch or you know the creatives behind it, feel free to meet me in my DMs because I have like 20 follow up questions and 30 kiss emojis to give you. So I don't know if this is now like formally like Gap is like, you know, putting a

campaign behind the 90 cents re-launch. But I have seen over the years these like weird

soft launches where like you go into Gap and there's just like three bottles of like a dream

body splash with no explanation or like official promotion of it. And I've also seen this in a few outlet stores. And I know you have

too because once in a while I will get a DM from somebody showing me that they saw GapDream in

their outlet store, which if you think of me when you see GapDream, my work is done.

I say all this to say, I did see it in store at one point. I did resmell it and I was immediately

disappointed. It just had like a generic, vaguely fresh, fruity, floral musky thing. And I was like,

I'm putting this down. I'm not tampering with my own scent memories, with my own scent dreams, and I blocked it out of my mind. Well, I was in Gap this weekend, and there,

by the checkout counter, I saw not just dream, but grass and ohm, and so pink, and all of

these fragrances were in front of me, and I can't explain it, but it felt different. Of course,

I sprayed dream immediately, and I will be forthcoming. I had that flashback of that generic,

fresh musky floral that I had experienced a few years ago, and I panicked. I kept shopping,

ignored it. But like a minute later, something emerged on my skin, something that I knew.

The reformulation, to be clear, it is different. This is not identical to my scent memories,

but it is close enough. And it is close enough that I bought it. I also bought grass too,

but I think that I'm going to do a bonus substack episode for paid

subscribers only where I go through all of the perfumes that I have purchased, smelled,

or received in PR in the last few months because I'm a little backlog right now and there

are just so many gems that I need to talk about that I just haven't found the time to talk
