Summary
After 5 1/2 years, I'm ending the podcast! It's been so rewarding to put this podcast on, but the time has come for me to move on. This last episode of the podcast gives context for this decision and hopefully helps you know how grateful I am to you for listening through the years!

| 0:00.0 | Hello, everyone. |
| 0:03.0 | Welcome to Nutrition Matters podcast. |
| 0:05.9 | My name is Paige, and it's kind of bizarre, but here I am recording my last episode. |
| 0:14.8 | I don't know how you feel about that. |
| 0:16.5 | I don't know if that seems like a big deal to you or not, but for me, podcasting has been a big part of |
| 0:22.9 | my life for the past five and a half years. And so I thought I needed to hop back on here and |
| 0:30.9 | explain a little bit about how I came to this decision and kind of hopefully tie up any loose ends to the extent that I can |
| 0:41.7 | and just give you a little bit of parting advice if it's helpful as you move on from listening |
| 0:49.9 | to the podcast. So let's start off with giving some context. So for some of you, maybe this |
| 0:59.4 | will be a repeat a little bit, but I, like, I want to give you some context as to why I even |
| 1:05.9 | started in the first place and then how I got to the point where I felt like it was just time to make a change. |
| 1:12.7 | So five and a, let's see, five and a half, probably six years ago now, I went through an |
| 1:19.6 | experience in my life that was really, really, really challenging. And I felt really alone in going through that and one of the |
| 1:31.8 | things that really brought me through and really helped me was listening to podcasts and I |
| 1:39.1 | spent a good solid you know many months just pouring myself over the resources that I could find that |
| 1:48.2 | helped me not feel alone that helped me understand what I was going through better and that |
| 1:53.5 | helped me start to heal from from there and when I um kind of felt like I was coming up for breath, I thought, you know what, I would |
| 2:05.0 | love to do something like this for other people. And I thought, you know what? Why not a podcast? |
| 2:11.6 | And why not podcast about the things that I know and the things that I'm good at and the things |
| 2:17.0 | that I do? And so that's how good at and the things that I do. |
| 2:18.0 | And so that's how it started for me was really this intention of trying to |
| 2:23.4 | hopefully pay it forward a little bit since I had benefited so much from it. |
