| 1:01.0 | lot of press lately in our group and in the emails that I receive. |
| 1:08.6 | So let's look at health anxiety. |
| 1:13.0 | Anxiety can be revolving around. |
| 1:15.0 | We can have avoidance behaviors, of course. |
| 1:18.0 | We can have conditioning where we become very highly sensitive to any physical |
| 1:26.0 | symptoms and feelings and going to panic about that. But the biggest one with |
| 1:31.7 | health anxiety, I believe, is mistaken beliefs. |
| 1:37.0 | You're believing that the physical symptoms that you are having are die, lose control or go, |
| 1:43.0 | bigger than they are, or that you are going to die, |
| 1:47.0 | lose control, or go insane, depending on what your symptom is. |
| 1:52.0 | And obviously, those are also symptoms of panic attacks so you can |
| 1:58.7 | see where that health anxiety can just immediately take us down the wormhole. |
| 2:05.0 | We're just gone because we think what is happening to us is physically going to kill us, hurt us, be chronic. |
| 2:17.0 | And so how do we deal with this? |
| 2:20.0 | Like we are preoccupied with that thinking. So it's like hypochondria is what they used to call it. |
