Summary
So much about what we thing of trust is warped. Often, we think that in order to trust someone, we need proof that they won’t hurt us or that they really are doing the right thing. But that is not the definition of trust.
This episode will cover how a strong relationship with yourself will make it easier for you to trust others, and how to mend a relationship where you are trying to rebuild trust.

| 0:00.0 | Good morning, my beautiful beans. Oh, hello, I should say. It might not be morning when you're listening |
| 0:04.4 | to this. But welcome to today's episode. This episode is all going to be about trust. How do you |
| 0:09.6 | trust somebody when your trust has been broken before? How to regain trust with the same person. |
| 0:15.1 | And also how to reframe what you consider trust to be. I think a lot of people have this skewed idea of what |
| 0:25.3 | trust actually means and I really want to break it down so you understand that the action of |
| 0:31.2 | trusting has way more to do with you and yourself and your relationship with yourself then it has to do with the other person. |
| 0:39.7 | And I'll explain what I mean by that in a second. So obviously you do need to Tuta Tango when it |
| 0:44.4 | comes to trusting somebody, but I'm going to explain why you can do a lot to work on that trust |
| 0:50.2 | and it could have nothing to do with the other person. I'm also going to be explaining how to help build trust within a relationship as well. |
| 0:57.7 | So there's a lot you can do as an individual to feel like you can trust people more |
| 1:02.3 | because you might be someone that you're like, I'm just not a trusting person. |
| 1:05.8 | I just struggled to trust people, which I could, I just don't. |
| 1:08.9 | So that's definitely all about you. |
| 1:11.7 | But then there's the other side of things where you're like either in general I trust people, but I can't trust anyone in a |
| 1:16.9 | romantic relationship because I've just been burnt so many times, or my partner has done something |
| 1:22.4 | or given me really strong reason to not trust them. Now we're trying to work through it, |
| 1:26.7 | but I just don't know how |
| 1:28.2 | to start trusting them again. So I'm going to be covering both those things. Now, before we get |
| 1:33.4 | into the topic of today's episode, I do want to answer one listener story. I don't have a brain |
| 1:38.7 | fact for today, but I'll get straight into the brain facts next week. So we're going to do one |
| 1:43.1 | listener story that someone's emailed in. |
| 1:45.4 | I'm going to try and just do these kind of dropped in here and there throughout the different episodes |
