No, we're going to go hot, shot out of the cannon. I mean, we are in a desert, so we're all sweltering hot. It's late for us Central Time Zone boys, Kyle and Matthew here, visiting Jim, for hosting. Thank you, Mr. Root. Welcome to the desert. I'm glad to have you guys. I'm perpetually apart. Sorry, it's how I come out here. I'm on my second glass of water of the day, which feels excessively too short. It's like, reminds whenever I go to Europe and like you go to restaurants and they give you those like little miniature sizes of water. I don't get how people in Europe don't consume gallons of water and now I feel like that's just depriving

my solid hydration. Kai, how are you, man? I'm good. The desert is dry. It's a very dry environment.

Wow, you guys have a common theme here. Yeah, you know, it's hot here. It's over 100. I'm not used to that very much.

But it's a fun time. It's a fun time to see Jim in his habitat, his natural environment. We're having

fun. And tonight's episode feels very off the cuff. We're kind of just riffing, you know? We're slinging

shots. We're no scoping for all the gamers out there, you know? We're all sitting at the same

table. We are using one microphone, so the sound quality may be interesting, but we're excited about it.

We kind of came up with the pod topic just recently.

We started the pod essentially at dinner while Jim had to watch his beloved bucks fumble away.

Yeah, so we're going to have to this early.

And so we just decided to continue that conversation with some lovely water cooler talk and give the folks a little behind-the-scenes peak at our top 100 players piece, which is currently under construction. It's probably the most nerve-wracking piece we we write every year i feel like it always gets the

those are great comments i miss them but they also terrify me in a way so getting this list perfectly

manicured is very important here i I like, I enjoy all the criticism except the phrase sleeping

on. I just hate it. I can't stand it. It implies that we didn't consider a player for the list.
