guest is one with a story that I know others will benefit and find inspiration from.

This guest is one of Mark Six, yes, six sisters, who grew up here locally and was baptized

at the age of 15 into the Jehovah's Witness organization. She spent 28 years of her life

baptized in the organization until she ultimately found herself in a position where it was time to

make some very big life changes. She had been married for 22 years as someone who ended up having a substance

abuse problem and she ultimately decided leave him simultaneously when leaving the organization.

And if anyone is familiar with making just one of these big life changes, you know that

they are massive decisions and incredibly hard chapters to close.

She then found herself as a newly single mom to her daughter who at the time was nine years old

on top of losing so many people close to her. And let me just tell you guys, Mark and I witnessed what

she went through and I just want to say, this woman sitting in front of me picked herself up by

the bootstraps and did a remarkable job

and navigating being shunned by close family and friends, all while being a newly single parent,

managing to continue to work full time to provide for her and her daughter off of her solo income.

But she also managed to go back to school and get her bachelor's degree during all of this.
