If this one thing that I could tell you right now, I hate more than just about anything, it's shopping. For me, the notion of retail therapy has a whole different meaning. Retail therapy to me would mean if I have to go shopping

I'm going to have to go to therapy afterwards because it just puts me to a bad place but sometimes I need to go shopping

whether that's grocery shopping or shopping at a hardware store or whatever it is there are are things that I need to get. It's an inevitable part of life.

So I've come up with a number of different tips and strategies that have helped me kind of deal with and

do better when I do have to go shopping but before I do I want to share a story that I think you guys can relate to and I want to share this with you.

But it's not my story. It's one of yours.

Can you also only remember three things when walking into a store?

I can even make up a song that repeats the three things in my head and 80% of the time I'll forget the one thing.

If I'm getting out of the car and my wife mentions the fourth thing,

forget it.

I'll turn around and write it down and make a scene and I'll get insulted for not

remembering four measly things but I digress, going into a store just to get ice.

You know, you have to remember the ice last at the cash register.

So I make up a song. I need ice and deodorant and gum boom boom I need ice and deodorant and gum boom I said ice and deodorant and gum, boom, boom. I said ice and deodorant and gum.

Boom, boom, boom. Here's the deodorant, and now the gum.
