A lot has changed, but has it changed us as well in the internet age.

Why is avoiding sinful content on the internet insufficient for the Christian?

Yeah, that's a great question.

So I think for most evangelicals over the last few years we've focused our thinking on technology

primarily in how we can kind of avoid the bad and embrace the good.

So we've thought in terms of good content, bad content,

and avoiding the bad content.

And I think we have, we've had a good conversation over the last few years about that, but we've not had a conversation about the way that the very form of these technologies might be having an effect on us.

So the metaphor I like to use is hardware versus software.
