0:20.2	All right, welcome to the Daily Blade. This week, we're going to do a deep
0:22.9	dive on Matthew chapter 14, a very famous event, Jesus walking on water. I'm going to read the whole
0:28.0	thing, and then each day we will dissect a part of it. It's Matthew 14, beginning in verse 22. The
0:33.3	Bible says, immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go before him on the other side
0:38.6	while he dismissed the crowds. And after he dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by
0:44.1	himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, but the boat by this time was a long way
0:50.4	from the land, beaten by the waves for the wind was against it. And in the fourth watch of the
0:55.7	night, Jesus came to them walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea,
1:01.8	they were terrified and said, it is a ghost. And they cried out in fear. But immediately, Jesus
1:07.6	spoke to them saying, take heart, it is I, do not be afraid. And Peter answered him,
1:12.5	Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. And Jesus said, come. So Peter got out of the
1:20.2	boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink,
1:26.6	he cried out, Lord, save me.
1:28.4	And Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him saying, oh, you of little faith,
1:33.8	why do you doubt? And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat
1:39.2	worshipped him, saying, truly you are, the son of God. Here's what I want to focus on today. Immediately,
1:46.8	he, Jesus, made the disciples get in the boat and go before him to the other side while he
1:51.8	dismissed the crowds. The reason that he was dismissing the crowds is because he had just poured
1:56.7	himself out in ministry. He had just fed 5,000 people with a little bit of fish and a little bit of bread.
