Summary
On the HEAL blog 8 Actionable Ways Embracing Self Love Leads To A Positive Body Image
Generational patterns are like hidden threads. They weave through our lives, often unseen and unnoticed. These invisible forces shape our behaviors and choices, impacting everything. Lisa's childhood was marked by her father's battle with significant mental health issues, whilst her mother struggled to navigate the chaos. Growing up amidst this tumultuous environment, Lisa unconsciously absorbed the trauma and eventually found herself in a marriage with an older, controlling partner, in similar chaotic circumstances. It wasn't until her own child began to struggle that she saw the patterns and realised there was a need for change. This pivotal moment forced Lisa to confront her circumstances, face her past, and set a new course.
