All right, what's up, welcome into second edition this week of the deer hunter podcast i am just cutting a quick intro in here as it is friday morning i got up early early so that

i could get this thing edited and get it out to everybody

so that we could have little laughs here and go into the weekend on high note.

I'm scrambling to get out the door for work right now.

This episode, for those of you that are new, is an annual episode that we do.

For those of you that have followed the show for years now.

You know what Black Velvet Fest is.

It's essentially just our degenerate group of friends,

getting together, shooting the shit over a bottle of black velvet whiskey

and welcoming in the deer season to come.

So just a little later in the year than what it normally is.

We usually do this in the middle of the summer. It's just been kind of a chaotic year.

But I feel like this falls on a good time. Michigan guys, we're two weeks out now. I'm getting

some final preparation done this weekend for the deer woods. The bows are all tuned. We're shooting

broadheads,

we're ready rock and roll, pick up some licenses and we'll be legal beagles. So that's about

it. This thing's all over the map. We talk some deer hunting, we talk some just absolute nonsense

that you'd find yourself conversing around a fire at a deer camp. That is for goddamn sure.

And we actually phone in a couple friends.
