Except things take a decisive turn when Achilles rejoins the battle.

We'll learn the deadly repercussions of cosplay and see that you might be in a war,

but that doesn't mean you can't have a mini-alimbix where people get poop up their nose.

This is a podcast where I tell stories from mythology and folklore.

Once again, we're in the middle of the Trojan War, so if you have not listened to the previous

two episodes, please go do that because there's a lot here.

I'll give a brief update just to refresh memories.

Basically, Agamemnon, the high king of the Greeks, made Achilles mad.

Achilles cried to his mom, who pleaded with Zeus to give the Greeks such heavy losses

that they had no choice but to beg Achilles to come back.

Zeus tricked the Greeks into attacking, and after many back and forth,

the Trojans breached the Greek ramparts and stood before their ships.

Hector, the Prince of Troy, set the first one ablaze,

when, in the light of the fire, and through the haze of war, he saw the armor of Achilles.

We're going to back up a little bit and tell what happened when Patroclus got back to Achilles.

And what was said, to get the Mirmidons, but kill these people back in the battle.
