This week on Myths and Legends were in the middle of the Trojan War.

Well, in the middle of year 9 of the Trojan War.

And we'll see that even though they've been battling for nearly a decade,

here is where things finally get interesting.

The creature this week is one from 19th century Japan that went viral

to protect people from illness.

Fun, I mean, not for anyone involved in the war.

That was a 10 year long bloody slog.

But, rounding out the ninth year, things finally started to change.

When a kill is, the demigod son of Thetus left the battlefield.

He did so in a huff.

After Agamemnon took one of his slaves,

shaming him, and in response, he prayed that the Greeks would regret that decision,

facing such heavy losses that Agamemnon would beg him to return.

He asked his mother, a CEDAD, to ask Zeus, who agreed, sending a lying dream to Agamemnon,

and convincing the Greeks to attack Wall Troi.
