As you may have seen, Senator Harry Reid has passed away at the age of 82, as announced

by his widow Landry Gould Reed.

Revired in the UFO community for his support for investigation and transparency in the subject,

he truly led the way through decades where the level of stigma for the subject was far higher

than now. He himself being a huge part of breaking down that stigma.

Making this a subject that can be talked about in the halls of government and beyond.

Of course, outside of his tenacious work with UAP, he achieved much, much more in his life

and political career.

Senator Harry Reid was a key player in securing the funding for official UFO programs within the US government.

Later known to the public as Osap and Aetip, led by Louise Elizondo,

Senator Reid fought to the very existence of these bodies,

asking his friends, colleagues and peers around him to look at the phenomenon in the skies of the US and around the world.

By the time the organization A-Tip became known to the public in late 2017 through the New York Times article

published by Keene Blumenthal and Cooper, Senator Reid had retired, but still

gave many interviews on the subject to media outlets big and small.

Keeping a very public profile to lend his huge credibility to the push for transparency and disclosure is the mark of an incredible human being.

Former President Barack Obama has come out in the hour since his passing to say he

feels he would never have been president had it not been for the support of Senator Reid.

Lou Elizondo has gone on to say, we must say goodbye to one of the greatest American heroes of our time,

a hero, a patriot, and a friend.

Christopher Melon, who also worked closely for many years with Senator Reid, has been quoted as saying,

We are all each and every one of us better off for Harry Reid's lifelong service.
