Good to have you on board, mate.

0:58.5

Now, the one thing that I think is very iconic here is that your father used to wear better bodies back in a day.

1:04.8

And now here you are representing Gasp and Better Bodies on its 40th anniversary.

1:09.5

How does that feel?

1:10.4

And number two, is Pops going to come over here as How does that feel? And number one, number two,

1:09.0

is Pops going to come over here as well at some point? No, yeah, man, it's super incredible. You know, for those of you to know, give you a little bit of history this week. You know, obviously we're celebrating the 40th anniversary of Better Bodies. You know, one of the very, you know, original people at the Better Bodies Company, the one responsible for all the photography, a lot of the artistic direction was, you know, Brian Moss.

1:44.8

And Brian Moss was actually one that took the photo of Lee in that original Better Body stringer. It's actually hanging up on the wall over in the office. So, you know, to be with the same company, you know, 25, 30 years later that my father was with and, you know, to be, you know, continuing to work celebrating a 40th anniversary it's it's crazy and it's really cool it's a cool position to be in you know

1:49.7

lee has been up here a bunch he's not going to make it up here this week we actually have our lee

1:53.6

lebrata classic in houston coming up this weekend so we're all hands on deck getting ready for

1:57.6

that show this week right okay got it now obviously you've been part of

2:01.8

various companies as you are with you know libara as well but what is it do you think that michael

2:08.4

has brought with gasp and better bodies that is different to other brands out there obviously

2:13.6

there's a large community here we've got the camaraderie which is. But he has a different vision that I believe to a lot of brands out there. Is that something that you agree with? And if so, what is it? No, I completely agree that he's built a really unique culture here. You know, at the end of the day, this is a business. Businesses are supposed to sell products and make money. And typically, they're sponsored athletes. I you hate that word michael i'll get to that point they're sponsored athletes are simply you know marketing tools it's you know if you aren't hitting your numbers for several months in a row it's you know see you later and you know with the athletes if they get a better deal that comes along it's you know see you later too and you know with gasp you know speaking for myself, I've been here, you know, five years now. You know, I've seen it, you know, go from it being, you know, a really selective little group of, you know, like really high-level bodybuilders to a group that still has that really high-level bodybuilder and competitive athlete to it, but we've opened it up to, you know, people that are not, you know, might

2:50.9

necessarily be the same level on stage, but they're the same in terms of their dedication to the lifestyle, their dedication, you know, to their endeavor in the gym. And, you know, it's been really cool to see Michael really, you know, put a lot of energy into making everyone's journey thrive. You know, it's not like he's just been, you know, behind

3:24.2

Branch and Johnny and me and Martin and Keon and, you know, like the heavy hitters he has on his roster. It's everything very much so is geared towards, you know, the team. It's not like he had, you know, his five or six athletes out this week and, you know, showed us a good time. He took 30, 40 people to all of these crazy events. He's not making money on it. It's definitely an expense,

3:24.7

but he's always been ones, you know, go out of his way to give us really cool experiences. And it's been, it's been something really cool. Like you said, before you pass me our little joint mic is, I've worked with a lot of companies, you know, I've had really good experiences with just about every single one of them. I'm really lucky to be able to say that. But, you know, at the end of the day, we haven't had any experiences, you know, like we've had this week or like I've had on several other occasions. You know, I haven't eaten dinner at anyone else who owns the companies I work with has, except for my dad, right? But, you know, he's gone out of his way to really, you know, make everyone feel included. It's been a really cool, cool vibe to have watched Grow over the last five or six years. Yeah. Camio. He's the only one that goes past. You know, like, I don't give a shit. Well, the one thing that I really respect about what Michael has done is that like he puts like the athletes the ambassadors the

4:31.2

community above here the business is here but it's propped up by everybody that leads it and he always

4:37.5

tries to get everybody to be the leader and I think you know what you said was perfect is that
