So I know this has been a really tough time for most of us and that a lot of parents have been

and probably still are really struggling right now. Things got

turned upside down overnight for most of us, kids in elementary school and beyond doing learning

from home, or some just basically hanging out and foregoing any kind of schooling activities,

daycares and preschools closed, one or more parents working from home. Families basically flung together,

no play dates, no sports or extra activities. Public spaces are now closed or closing. Just as we get used

to each new change, something else is thrown at us. Some cities and states are going on total lockdown

or minimizing places you can go or things you can do

to only necessary outings like grocery shopping, medical supplies, or emergencies. Just as we

resigned ourselves to accepting the next month at home with the kids, or maybe we hadn't even

quite gotten there yet, now many of us are finding out that the schools may be closed even longer,

potentially through the end of the school year. Who knows what will happen with summer camps after

that? So right now, we're basically trying to accept what is and know that the only short thing
