I'm your host Pat Lynn Choney and I'm joined by the full crew and I was listening to one

of our podcasts this morning just to see how it went and I decided I'm not going to do

the introduction of everybody again. I will just do it all at once. How are you all doing?

Awesome. Fantastico. Perfect. Okay. Very nice. Very nice. We got Matt and Karen in

studio today and what is our topic today? Cody. Decision making is overrated. That's right.

My wife was in the office today when we announced this and she was like, that's a weird

title. I was like, yeah, we try to make them a little bit weird. But the truth is we think

decision making is important. But it's overrated relative to something else and that's

really implementation science. Everybody is worried about the decisions they make and

whether it's right or not right. And what they don't realize is independent of that,

it's what you do with the decisions you make that are so, so much more important. So what's

behind that, Pat? What's behind the like the thing that we do where we spend too much

time over emphasizing the decision? That's a great question. I mean, I think it's a few

different things. One, I think decision science is more fun to study. It's in a box. It's

easy to look at. It's like right there. I think the other thing is we're afraid of having

to actually overcome things in implementation. Implementation's hard. Decision is easy.

So if we could just make the perfect decision, then maybe we wouldn't have to implement

and do the hard parts. Those are my first two. What do you think, Cody?
