Now, the gender affirming care movement would have us believe that it doesn't happen and when it does happen

it only happens among people who weren't really trans in the first place.

But that's not true.

Who are D-ransitioners?

Detransitioners are individuals and in my book they're young individuals

who tried to do what many of us would think is unthinkable to become another gender.

So for the girls trying to become a boy and for the boys trying to become a girl.

Many of the people who are in my book who I interviewed realized after a certain point that they had been lied to by doctors, by therapists, the medical professionals who had told them you will be happier if you undergo puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries

in an attempt to become another gender.
