Marsha Montenegro, she spent eight years as a professional astrologer.

She's founder of Christian Answers for the new age. Marsha, welcome back.

Hi, Todd. Thanks so much for having me on.

Are you surprised that astrology is making a popular comeback?

No, and actually I would say it's maybe not really a comeback.

I think it's always been popular.

Polls have consistently shown, usually around a 30% of the population when they do surveys say they believe in astrology.

And I think it's always been at least 25%, which is pretty high.

So I think maybe it's surged a little bit now, so that could be maybe called a comeback, but I think it's always been popular.

The Washington Post quotes several people who say that astrology gives them insights into themselves and into their lives.

How do you respond to that?

Yes, that does not surprise me. There's actually psychological factors that have been shown, that make people believe things when they're told things about themselves.

Sometimes you like to be around people, but then you also need time alone.

Or you're usually patient, but certain things make you mad.
