We recently went to California like we talked

about last week and my kids got sick while we were on our trip. Holden got sick right before we left.

My babysitter was fine with it. We were just going to kind of quarantine him, which we learned,

you know, can kind of like keep the rest of the family from getting it.

And then my daughter got sick and we didn't know if we were going to be coming home early.

So it was super nice to get away and to get in that warm sunshine because right now there's

literally, I'm looking at my window and there is a winter storm.

Kids are home from school. So since we've even been back, my daughter has some type of tummy bug. So she was home yesterday. And then today was supposed to be a two hour delay. And now both kids are home from school. And we're just rolling with it. Because if there's one thing about me, it's that I'm constantly talking about how, what you do has to work for your life.

And I talk to people about that so much because we think that if my plan and what I do and how I'm

going to lose weight and my relationship with food, if that is all based on no stress and like my

kids being where they're supposed to be and me having the space to work and all that.

Like it's not going to work.

So I've already, even since we came back from our trip, we had the Monday off and then Tuesday Maud was sick and now Wednesday both kids are home.

It's like this entire week has gone nothing like I expected it to go.

And it's times like this when I'm so grateful that I've put in the work to make plans that take

into account what's going on.

Like yesterday I had therapy.

So I made sure that I had a really easy lunch to take and that there was food in the crockpot.
