0:55.2	And this comes up a lot in the work that I do with teens, but this also comes up for me personally.
1:02.8	A lot of the struggles that I coach on with teens, I've also had or I even continue to have.
1:10.3	And so I've kind of actually been doing a lot of work on myself with this topic too.
1:15.6	We've been traveling and visiting various friends and I kind of found my brain trying
1:22.0	to prove myself.
1:24.3	And I had to stop multiple times and ask myself, am I doing this because I want to do this?
1:29.8	Or am I doing it because I want to prove something to someone?
1:34.1	Before we go any further, I want to define for you what prove means.
1:39.8	And when I typed it into Google, I found this definition.
1:43.7	Prove means to demonstrate as having a
1:47.5	particular quality or worth. When I think of demonstrate, I think like in what ways in your life
1:55.4	are you demonstrating or trying to demonstrate that you have a particular quality or are of worth.
