Summary

I am joined today by author Jay Stringer to talk about sexual stuckness/difficulties/struggles. Healthy sexuality is deeply tied to the degree to which we have made sense of our story in our family of origin. Sadly, so few of us have ever been asked to connect the dots between our past life story and the sexual difficulties we face in the present. Today, Jay and I try to connect some of those dots. 0:33.6	I'm very proud of my book, and I'm very pleased that I'm now an author like you.
0:39.0	But let's talk about the very fraught subject of sexuality today.
0:43.2	And I want to begin by inviting everyone to attend an upcoming conference that we are doing on this very important subject.
0:52.4	We've been doing the Sexual Att attachment conference every year in May.
0:56.8	This is the fourth year. And it's coming up May 3rd, 2025. You can attend for the first time ever
1:03.8	this year. You can actually attend in person. If you live in or want to fly to Mesa, Arizona, which is outside of Phoenix, it's going to be held
1:14.2	at Ironwood Church in Mesa, Arizona. But if you can't make it there, of course, you can attend
1:20.0	virtually because the entire conference is going to be live streamed. And here's what I want to
1:26.0	begin with. You know, Jay, you talk about frequently that at some
1:31.1	point in our lives, we all encounter challenges with regard to our sexuality, whether it's
1:38.1	compulsive unwanted sexual behavior or whether it's struggling to feel any sexual desire at all in my body.
