Hi this is Steve. One of the best things about doing the Cinephiles is turning people on to films they've never seen before.

But that's also a heady responsibility. I mean, how will they react? Will people love these films as much as John and I do or will

they think that we're absolutely crazy? There's certainly some films which created a fair

amount of controversy and others that some of our listeners absolutely hate.

But one film I'm not worried about is a cure Cora sauas Seven Samurai.

Now I'm not saying that everyone will like it.

And certainly for some the barrier of entry might be quite high.

After all, we're talking about a 66 year old black and white, 3.5 hour period piece with subtitles.
