Hello and welcome to a meet at hippie podcast. I am so happy you're here. This is episode 171, so I knew it would be special. I have a wonderful guest, Hilary Schneider, coming to talk about horses. You obviously know that I am in my horse era. If you don't, that's okay. Actually, I don't know how you would know because this just happened.

I was in Vietnam filming for the challenge and then went to Cambodia and then came back to my van and then didn't know what life was going to give me.

So I just opened up and said, I surrender.

And then all of a sudden,

I have found myself on a ranch, 700 acres, filled with love and energy and goodness and

adventure, but also with three horses. And I knew right away that these horses were in my life

for a big reason. And they needed a caretaker and I volunteered as tribute because how could

I not? It's been such an amazing gift to learn about everything I can about horses. It's been also

wild because I feel sometimes very over my head, but I also am here for that growth. And I cannot be more grateful for the

mentors that are showing up in my life. I have a weekend intensive with Tom Mays, who's teaching

me craniosacral with equine, and then Hillary Schneider, who you're going to hear from.

Just amazing humans, Solwyn, who's been coming onto the property to teach me so much.

And today I wanted to deep dive into some of those lessons and understand them for anyone

who maybe has been called to horses or has horses showing up in their life.

So with Hillary, we talk about boundaries. We talk about all the things the horses have taught me, which include the ability to face the fear, to understand fear around horse.

We've talked about herd dynamics.

We talked about the mirroring, what happens when you mirror with a human, you know, this kind of heaviness that can get attached to it because it's nonstop.

But when you're with a horse, the mirroring is because they themselves are choosing to give us this awakening and this powerful, unconditional love, knowing that horses have an electromagnetic field that's over five times

bigger than humans. So they have this heart expansiveness that we can feel and how it affects

our nervous system, especially if we're in that burnout stage. We talk about some manifestation
