Welcome to MCU fan show. My name is Sean Gerber and this episode it is a really solemn occasion because as I'm sure all of you are aware

Chadwick Bozeman passed away on Friday, August 28th at the age of 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer.

And this is an unimaginable loss of course for his family, his friends, those who knew and loved

him and we wouldn't conflate our loss with theirs.

At the same time, Chadwick Bozeman meant a lot to a great many people

and made a tremendous impact on the world and moved millions and millions of people all over the world

through his work, through the light that he was able to shine in movies like 42 and of course Black Panther as well as his other turns in the Marvel Cinematic universe

and so for this episode we are going to remember Chadwick Bozeman We are going to express our grief, of course, of this tremendous loss.

And we are going to try and celebrate his life a little bit and share some of the positive memories that we have thanks to him and for this episode I am joined by my friends Maya and Robert

And I know this is just an incredibly difficult moment.

Absolutely.

I don't think any of us could prepare for the news we got yesterday and it's so heavy on my heart it's still a lot to process and

just the nature of it just knowing that he was silently struggling just to be able to keep like a hope alive within his

fans within everyone who looked up to him and I mean it's such a great loss for all of us but

you know looking back on his life and his legacy I I think it's just so

it's so overwhelming to think that he was struggling with this for such a long time and for the past four years he had to he really looked at all of these
