Summary

One of the oldest and most infamous unsolved cases in Colorado's history.. The Case of Peggy Hettrick. Where a young man was convicted of a brutal rape and murder, because of his location and interests. This is a frustrating "who done it" with twist and turns and and plenty of dead ends.   OhMyGaia.com Code: Creeper     https://www.tonicvibes.com Code: Creeper     EVERYTHING TRUE CRIME GUYS:   https://linktr.ee/Truecrimeguysproductions   Patreon.com/truecrimeguys Merch: truecrimeguys.threadless.com   OhMyGaia.com Facebook Twitter/Instagram: @TrueCrimeGuys @AndImMichael @sandupodcast STICKERS CREEPER MERCH     Sources: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x5NG1iADkc   https://spikytv.com/peggy-hettrick-murder/  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGh3t_qrXAs   https://www.9news.com/article/news/local/next/two-colorado-residents-opposite-sides-high-profile-murder-case-most-unlikely-friendships/73-c1227b10-c782-4c8d-8daf-5070e066d962   https://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/2016/02/17/29-years-later-cold-case-haunts-fort-collins/80406396/   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peggy_Hettrick_murder_case

0:35.1

years old or something like that? I believe so. I believe it came out in 2017 maybe early

0:40.3

2018. Yeah and then the week before that we did a patron exclusive episode. So you guys

0:47.6

haven't we haven't done a free episode on the on the regular platform in a couple weeks.

0:52.1

I was at a time last weekend. I'm just happy to be back and we got a great case for you

0:55.0

this week. Oh dude seriously a crazy one off case. Yeah with somehow one of the more

1:01.0

infamous cases in Colorado in Colorado history and heads up. This is an unsolved case.

1:05.6

I know some people like a heads up on that. I don't know. That being said, it didn't

1:10.1

stop the police from believing it was solved and blocking the wrong person up for 10 years.

1:14.2

It's one of those cases as well. Oh yeah. Yep. Another one where they got laser focused

1:18.6

on somebody who happened to be close to the crime and just couldn't see anybody else.

1:22.7

They had blinders on. But there is but in the end though we talked about it before the

1:27.7

show in the end there is a a a factor in this case that is unlike any other case we've

1:32.8

ever done. Which is pretty cool. It's steel. It's hard to believe right in all and hundreds

1:37.8

of episodes that we've done. We're finding a scenario that we haven't seen yet. Pretty

1:42.8

interesting. Yeah. Yeah. One of the detectives actually having some self awareness and self

1:47.2

reflection and correcting a wrong that she had done in the past. So something we haven't

1:52.3

seen before. And so yeah as many cases as we've done there's always something that comes

1:55.6

up or like, wow, this is a new element that we've never discovered. Exactly. I'm excited

2:00.2

to get into this one. Are you ready? Let's do it, man.
