I hang out in some weird places on the internet sometimes.

One of them is this little forum dedicated to electricians.

There's an interesting thing that I'm into these days and that's the skilled trades.

So I'm not a tradesman, but I like to read about different things people do,

pipe fitters, welders, electricians, you know, tool and die. different things

like that.

And the other day I came across a really interesting story

from an electrician.

Now, what do you know about the skill of trades? I know that it's much like the

Jedi order where you've got the master and the apprentice set up going on you learn

by actually doing it well you can learn at school too, but you have to go and work with somebody who knows the field to do it.

And what do you call the pad one, the junior person? It's an apprentice? That's's right and then do you know the word for the person that is basically the Jedi master the person doing the training it's a weird word okay you've got an apprentice then you have a journeyman that's it. Oh okay. Journeyman. Yeah that's right. I wanted to show you this thing so this person's an apprentice and they were asking an opinion for the other electricians.

This is clearly somebody that's learning.

They're just now getting out into the trade and they're trying to figure out what's going

on.
