I guess today is none other than the great Michio Kaku with his new book The God Equation,

the quest for a theory of everything.

Michio is the professor of theoretical physics at the city university of New York

co-founder of Stringfield theory and the author of several widely acclaimed science books

including Beyond Einstein the future of of Humanity, The Future of the Mind,

Hyper Space, Physics of the Future, and the Physics of the Impossible.

He is the Science Correspondent for CBS this morning,

the host of the radio program's Science Fantastic

and Exploration, and a host of several science TV

specials for the BBC and the Discovery and Science channels.

So we discuss in his new book what happened before the Big Bang, what caused it to bang,

what lies in the other side of a black hole, other other universes and dimensions, the multiverse in its multiple

configurations, black holes, wormholes, and portals to other universes, time travel, dark energy and dark matter, gravity,

string theory of course which is the basis of his new book and what he works on. We go through the proofs for God's

existence, the cosmological argument and the teleological argument, fine-tuning

argument, so forth. We asked did God have a choice in creating the

universe? Is God just the laws of nature or a personal being? What's the meaning of

life in a meaningless universe? So we cover all the big topics. It's one of the more

interesting conversations I've had on this podcast. He is always such an enlightening
