Happy New Year and welcome back to what have you. I'm Rachel Davis. I'm Beckham

Merkel but I'm surprised. Taken a back by your sudden switch. We have to do things

differently in the New Year. We have to start fresh. We're new people with

not our old problems. We're completely fresh. All new. Untainted. Yeah. This time we're

organized. Amazing. I was thinking how funny it is that I have noticed through the years

of the more we really observe the Sabbath. Like the more that we really rest on the Sabbath.

The more Monday is like my favorite. I love Monday. Also the harder we celebrate Christmas,

the more January is like my favorite month of the fall. It's great. This is January. It's like

look at me putting this stuff away. You know how putting it out of sight. I have to tell you this.

So yes in the great January sweep through February. Not so. I was like I'm going to clean out

the pantry. I just was up in it getting everything organized and sending stuff to the food bank

that you're like I could swear I never bought this. What is it doing in here? You know how you

find yourself with those things like random whatever. So I you know pack up a box of stuff to get

rid of and I just you know getting the shelves kind of refreshed. Wipe out like honey spills

in the back that kind of thing. And then um yesterday after church near DNR Sunday lunch we had

a couple people just you know a couple extras. And so I was like it was pretty low key. I decided

to make hop and john and collard greens. That's another thing Rachel we need to talk about that

because it was unbelievably delicious. But anyhow I'd never made it before. But I was like oh hey

we have a brownie mix. I remember seeing in the um pantry. So I hadn't planned a dessert so I was

like thought would you just whip up the brownies and that'll be at least something you know because

sure. I feel like if I'm having company I feel more like I ought to have a dessert something than

if it's just us anyhow. So she's like sure so she whips up the brownies and then they come out of the
