Summary
You need to ask yourself this right now: Are you teaching your team WAY too much info? Are you overtraining your team?
A common mistake that a lot of leaders make in this profession is OVERWHELMING their team with too much information and training.
"Hey! Watch this video! Listen to this podcast! Read this book! Join this team call!"
Yes, personal development is a very important part of our profession. However, too often it results in overwhelming our team, especially new people.
The more we teach and train our teams the less focus there will be on the basic actions and core principles of the business that will create the beginnings of success.
Always remember this: Personal development does not come from overtraining people. It comes from taking the information, learning from these resources, and putting them into action.
In today's Biz Tip Friday, I'm going to tackle 3 critical components for success and how to train without overwhelming your team.
