Hey everyone, welcome to the Natasha Crane Podcast. In today's episode, I'm going to

to talk about why Christians must care about politics.

I've got to be honest with you I have wanted to do this episode for a very long time

but I was sort of intimidated to do it because I wanted to make

sure that I was doing the subject justice. It's a really big subject obviously

it's a controversial subject and I wanted to make sure that I could do it to the very

best of my ability but I realize that if I wait forever for that time where I can

put everything into it then this will just never happen.

So I hope that this episode is going to be helpful to you

in thinking about the relationship of a biblical worldview and politics,

but it's also not a comprehensive manifesto on the subject.

So if you get to the end of it and you're thinking, oh, she didn't address this or that,

I know there are lots of things that could be addressed here.

So just bear with me and I do hope that what I do cover will be helpful to you.

So as a little bit of personal background on this I want to tell you that until about two years ago I had absolutely no

interest in politics. I found it incredibly boring it seemed detached from my

everyday life it just seemed like there were a bunch of people always yelling at

each other and my husband was more interested in politics so I would hear

the people that he was listening to in the background sometimes and I just thought

I don't understand this I don't know why anyone cares this much.

So everything changed for me in 2020 really everything changed in terms of my views of politics and the importance of politics in that year.
