0:15.7	Hey everyone. Welcome to the Natasha Crane Podcast. My guest today is the great Frank Turick. He has a fascinating new book out called Hollywood Heroes How Your Favorite Movies Reveal God. And Frank co-authored this book with
0:21.2	his son, Zach. And in case you're not aware of him, he's an
0:24.9	award-winning author or co-author of several books, including I don't have enough faith to be
0:29.5	an atheist and stealing from God. I love both of those books by the way, highly recommend them.
0:34.2	He hosts a weekly TV program broadcast to 32 million homes and an
0:39.4	apologetics podcast on over 180 stations. He is the founder and president of cross-examine.org
0:46.0	and he speaks over a hundred times per year often to youth and college students and
0:51.4	seriously if you follow Frank on social media you will
0:54.3	get notifications all the time that he is live somewhere. I don't even know how you can be in all the
0:59.0	places that Frank is. But aside from all the official bio stuff, on a personal note, I just want to say that
1:04.7	I have the utmost respect for Frank as an apologist because he does not shy away from speaking
1:11.3	out on the hot cultural topics including those in the dreaded
1:14.8	arena of politics. A lot of times I think that apologists are so focused on making a
1:20.9	case for on defending the truth of Christianity that they don't go to the next
1:24.3	step of answering. So now what? Let's think about that. If Christianity is true, then what does that mean for me as someone
1:32.0	who's called to be salt and light in culture.
1:34.8	And the reality is that in a lot of cases there are some really, really important things that
1:38.9	are going on that might be labeled political quote unquote, but they are truly worldview issues that
1:44.5	Christians should care deeply about and it's just one example Frank
1:47.9	recently featured Pastor Jack Hibbs on his radio show and they talked about this new bill that's working its way
1:54.4	through California right now that would literally allow people to kill their
1:59.1	babies up to 28 days after birth.
