Summary
Machine Method Phase: DISCOVERY
Another group of hungry, relentless entrepreneurs proved their merit by submitting detailed pitch videos with their experience and ideas to https://dyrdekmachine.com/are-you-a-do-or-dier for the chance to Build With Rob. While they may not be exact fits for the Dyrdek Machine’s hyper-specific criteria (see: EP01 Welcome to the Machine) for creating a company, Rob still believes all of these founders have what it takes to be successful and wants to lend his unique point-of-view to help them keep pushing forward to achieve their dreams.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Build with Rob. I am Rob Deirdek, CEO of the Deerdeck Machine, a one-of-a-kind venture creation studio where we manufacture amazing companies using our machine method process. |
| 0:16.1 | This show is really just all about our passion for creating businesses with do or dire entrepreneurs |
| 0:22.7 | and really sharing all the lessons that we have learned along the web. |
| 0:29.1 | Today's episode of Build with Rob is once again an opportunity for those entrepreneurs |
| 0:35.2 | who have pitched us through Deardickmachine.com to be able |
| 0:39.1 | to talk to me and ask me some questions about their idea. You know, I can't begin to tell |
| 0:44.2 | you how much I just love talking to anybody about their business. I don't care what their |
| 0:50.6 | idea is. It's one of my life's greatest joys is just chopping it up with a fellow |
| 0:55.7 | entrepreneur about their vision and where they see an opportunity. And really, they put a lot of |
| 1:02.3 | energy into creating these videos and uploading them to our site to have a shot at being |
| 1:07.2 | partners with us. And, you know, unfortunately, these companies aren't the right |
| 1:12.1 | fit for us. But again, I really want to be able to connect with these entrepreneurs and allow |
| 1:16.9 | them to ask me some questions so that I can maybe help them out, help evolve their idea, |
| 1:22.6 | maybe evolve their way of thinking and push them in a direction that can hopefully help |
| 1:27.4 | them find success |
| 1:28.3 | in the future. Southern Foster is the very first person that pitched a video through our |
| 1:34.5 | DeerDeckmachine.com, are you a do or dieer section of the website? And I've already reached out to him |
| 1:40.4 | and spoke to him because I was just so honored and thankful and humbled by someone taking |
| 1:46.6 | the time and really putting together a video and sharing their idea with me. So I thought it was |
| 1:52.0 | only right that we bring him back on the show and hear about his idea. We spoke about his concept |
| 1:57.7 | of putting speakers in a pillow and how potentially difficult it was from |
| 2:02.3 | manufacturing aspect. |
