Yesterday, I did something I'm ashamed of.

It was a busy street.

I was turning left across three lanes coming toward me, and I saw I had a gap.

So I was turning left, and I hear someone screaming, and it was crossing guard.

And she was walking a middle school-aged kid, and saw me turning left into them.

So I was already sticking into that first lane.

I couldn't back up because somebody was behind me, but she yelled at me.

Let me have it.

And kept going at it.

And I made a motion to my chest like, I'm so sorry, I said everything like, sorry, sorry,

sorry, sorry.

And then, as I drove away, I was reaching for things to blame her for in my mind.

Like, well, she didn't need to, yeah, I mean, she didn't need to keep going about it.

Like, what am I supposed to, like, and then also, like, no, Brandt, it's not her fault.

She actually did the exact right thing, but it's so that reaction to defend yourself.

When you feel threatened to ask someone saying, I'm not a good person, basically.

Yes, and I wanted to go back and apologize, but also say, you know, I've never
