You're doing your Christmas cards. If you send those out, I have good news for you. Freedom from apostrophes. You never need one.

Oh boy. You don't. This is every Christmas season today. I'm angry about it. I've made peace. Some people are going to insist on putting apostrophes in it.

I would say you're not at peace if we continue to make announcements that you don't need the apostrophes.

More can it be in a piece. If you pluralize your last name, you don't need, you never, the rule is never ever ever. So it's nice, sometimes rules can get complex. You don't need one.

Like if your last name is Smith, just an ass. I know you're trying to speak peacefully, but I still feel a little bit of agitation in your voice.

I'm a little agitated.

Please let us be your bracelet. What? Yeah, I know. What? What? What? What? What I mean is it's interesting. Like when God chose this family to work with.

Family to work with. Family to Abraham and this group of people. He's like, I'm your God. Don't forget this. Wrap it around your wrist if you have to. Put it on the door post.

Like don't forget that I'm your God. Don't forget. So I feel like we don't have much of that in our culture, but they had it strung through all their culture, all these symbolic things, these feasts, these things. For us, there's not much.

So let us be your bracelet reminder. You don't need to be afraid.

There's a scripture I saw yesterday. I've been working on memorizing it this last year, but it's familiar to some people. It's Joshua 1.9. It says, have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.

For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. It's true. If you trust him, you have nothing to ultimately be afraid of. Nothing.

It's so hard to remember that because everything else, no one's going to, no one else can tell you that. But it's true. So let us be your bracelet reminder for you. You do not need to be afraid.

A quick Christmas note for you. If your true love gives you a partridge in a pear tree, not actually your true love.

You're trying to get you arrested. You cannot legally own a partridge. Oh, you can't. No, you can't. You need special licenses.

Your true love may have some time to let that go. If somebody was introducing someone else to you as like this great religious leader and they were like, yeah, he comes from this incredible family.

Like his dad was this big pastor and then his grandfather and grandmother were these missionaries. And then you've heard of the great grandfather. He wrote these books about and be like, wow, he's from this great lineage. What a great religious leader.

This person is how amazing is it? This is something that might occur to you at Christmas time. The book of Matthew. So this is the first part of the New Testament starts with this genealogy about Jesus.

Because it's setting up the birth narrative about who this, who this Messiah is, this chosen one. So you think it'd be all like this important person and that. And there are some important people in there, but.

There's some shady characters. They didn't have to do that. So God chose this. I believe that. Like God inspired this book. And he starts with a genealogy.
