Summary

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has come to an end after seven seasons on ABC. On this episode, we examine the legacy of the show from the "Coulson Lives" campaign and series premiere (which was a big deal in 2013) to the show's two endings, and all of the successes and struggles in between. We also look at where the show fits within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's a good thing we have multiple timelines now! Hosted by Sean Gerber and Paul Hermann. 2020 we talked about before we started recording. It's been quite the year, but, but, uh, but, but, uh, but, at the same time, I've been just, you know, reading a lot of comics comics lately a little bit more than I

1:23.8

probably usually have and it's just been a lot of fun going through reading a lot

1:30.0

of older Marvel books that I've been meaning to kind of get to and just having a lot of fun just kind of diving in and that's kind of the thing about Marvel and I think a lot of these IPs or brands or whatever which I hate saying those words, by the way.

1:42.6

But what's a lot of fun is that when you,

1:46.4

if you're a fan listening to the show or watch the films,

1:50.5

there's this big plethora of stuff that deep dive into whether it be the comics or the

1:55.7

cartoons and for me it's you know most of it's the comics was also the cartoons

2:00.3

and other stuff too but there's so much to dive into you know different you

2:04.1

know mythologies or or just histories and you can immerse yourself in anything

2:09.5

of Marvel and it's just so rad that we get in this day and age that we can do that.

2:14.8

Back in the day you had to like go to the comic store and you know spend all this time

2:19.6

and money and just be intimidated but now it's just you know really just kind of ask a few people

2:25.4

where do I go or where do I start or whatever and you just kind of go and kind of figured things out as you go and it's just so cool we can do that so yeah it's been really cool going
