The latest global climate report was released this Monday! The IPCC’s AR6 Working Group 2 report summarizes the current climate science around adaptation, and the socio-economic and governance impacts of climate change. I’m excited to be joined by lead authors Dr. Libby Jewett, founding Director of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program, and Dr. Kirstin Holsman, NOAA Research Fishery Biologist and co-lead investigator on the Alaska Climate Integrated Modeling Project. 1:18.5	IPCC report. On Monday of this week, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of
1:26.3	climate scientists hosted by the United Nations,
1:29.3	released their latest climate report. A little bit of context, we are currently on the AR6 report,
1:36.5	the six assessment report by the IPCC. Assessant reports are broken down into three sections,
1:43.1	and they are authored by three different working
1:45.9	groups. So in October, last fall, we received our first working group report on the physical
1:53.4	impacts of climate change. This second working group report that was released on Monday is
1:59.2	focused on the current landscape of adaptation and the
2:02.2	socioeconomic impacts of climate change. And the third working group report that will be released
