Leadership is a tough job. From far, it seems appealing as is commonly said — all experience and effective challenge.

I had a conversation with sunshine about the effectiveness of leadership that comes with tons of responsibility. It not only requires filling up your cup but equally filling others' cups is where leadership stands. 

Talking about the balancing act of leadership, I agreed with the thoughts of Sunshine as she said being a leader you have to fulfill the needs of the organization as well as the team members at a time with stability. 

Leadership drains you emotionally and physically. Sometimes it is so troublesome for you that if you don't lay out normal rhythms of restoration and reward, your administration will become incapable and fleeting. But at the end of the day, you have to deal with it. 

Leaders also need peace of mind and for this, they can find comfort wherever they feel calm and relaxed.  Find a way to prioritize yourself whether it comes from hanging out with friends or sitting alone at a beach, or listening to music. They need a refresh button too.

It was a healthy discussion and being a leader, it was a great way to pour my perspective on it.
