Today, we are just a little over a month left on the Switch 2 launch.

And Nintendo has had a bit of a rocky, challenging time, so we're wondering what can they

do to regain control of the narrative over Switch 2

and really just make this last month plus a really big success and they can launch the Switch

2 into existence in a positive way?

Yeah, they've had a crazy busy April and it's hard to believe that it's been still less than a month. I know. Since the big Switch 2 Direct, they've been so much that's happening, they've done that, they've done all their media events, they've had this worldwide tour where people could go hands-on. So it feels like this first big wave of activities for them is kind of wrapping up and they're probably looking ahead and it's a good

time for them to reflect of well we've done some things that are working we've done some things

that maybe aren't working should we just stick to the old plan and you know cover our eyes and

hope it works out or is it time to really think about making some tweaks yeah not too late for

them to sort of acknowledge what's

been happening, what people are saying, what people are feeling. Because it does make a difference

when you are like so close to the thing being on sale where, you know, at this point,

people have pre-ordered. We are just a little while away for the thing just being on sale. So it is kind of

your last chance to, you know, do everything you can, make the best impression possible, really

set yourself up for success. And, you know, we've been through so many launches while we were

at Nintendo. Some were very successful, like the Switch 1 launch that we were a part of.

And you can kind of feel in the month leading to a successful launch, like, yeah, we did

everything we can, and we know this is going to be good.

And in other cases, they have not been very successful, and you do get very reflective about, you know, what could have a better done better chance of it becoming something that's not going to fail.

So, yeah.

What's interesting is some of the things, you know, they are what they are and there's not really much you can do to fix it.

But some of the other things you can't address. Like there are things within their power to make some of these situations a little bit better. So it will be telling to see if they decide to do anything about it or just like, hey, we're sticking to the plan. It is what it is. Here we go. And we have some really good conversations already about, you know, some of the strangeness in their decision making.
