I'm your host, Alice, and I'm joined as always by my

killer co-host Brett. You know, we've been doing this true crime podcast, a couple of them for a while.

Killer, that's such a great, great introductory phrase. I don't know why I didn't think of that

before. You know, we can't all be as good as well. I can't take credit for it because, guys, I think when we have special guests on the show,

you can tell in my voice because I'm so giddy that we have someone else to talk to other than my killer co-host, Brett.

Because today, y'all have heard her on our other podcast before, or maybe it was this one.

I've lost track at this point, but she is an old friend.

We are so glad to have Claire Santa Maugh back on our show. You know her as a journalist and

TV producer from 48 hours and 60 minutes. And she just came out with a new book that you guys

should all be getting right now. It's called Killer Story, The Truth Behind True Crime Television.

It says it all in the title, but Claire, the stories you have to tell in this book, I am so excited to hear to tell it in person.
